Shipping related costs may include, but are not limited to:

 • Freight charges

 • Residential delivery fees

 • Lift gate service fees

 • Appointment scheduling fees

 • Detention fees

 • Re delivery fees

 • Duties, taxes, and customs clearance, when applicable

Title and risk of loss transfer to the buyer immediately upon release of the merchandise to the carrier at our warehouse.

Shipping invoices must be paid in full before freight is scheduled or dispatched.

Order Processing

Orders are processed within 1 to 5 business days following confirmed payment. Processing times may vary depending on order volume and freight coordination requirements.

Freight is scheduled only after full payment has been received for both merchandise and shipping, unless alternative arrangements have been approved in writing.

Packaging Methods

Zoom Liquidation uses industry standard packaging methods to secure merchandise during transit. Orders may be packaged as:

 • Shrink wrapped pallets

 • Gaylords

 • Bins

 • Bales

 • Case packed boxes

Shipments may be arranged through:

 • Courier services, such as FedEx or USPS

 • LTL freight, less than truckload

 • Full truckload freight

 • Container shipments

 • Customer arranged pick up

Unless otherwise requested in writing, shipments are quoted and dispatched with standard minimum carrier insurance coverage.

Courier Shipments

Smaller case packed orders may ship via courier services rather than freight carriers.

Shipping multiple boxes together is typically more cost effective than shipping individual boxes separately. In some cases, palletized merchandise may be repacked into cartons to reduce residential delivery or lift gate charges.

All courier shipments include standard default insurance unless additional coverage is requested prior to shipment.

LTL Freight Shipments

LTL, less than truckload, generally applies to shipments of 1 to 6 pallets. Larger orders may be consolidated, divided into multiple LTL shipments, or shipped as a full truckload depending on cost efficiency.

Freight rates are determined by:

 • Total shipment weight

 • Freight class and type of goods

 • Number of pallets

 • Destination address

 • Residential or commercial classification

 • Lift gate requirements

Residential deliveries typically require lift gate service. Carriers charge additional fees for residential delivery and lift gate use.

Deliveries are made curbside or to a loading dock only. Drivers are not permitted to move freight inside residences, garages, or storage units.

Upon delivery, customers must carefully inspect all pallets, shrink wrap, and packaging before signing the Bill of Lading.

Any visible damage, shortage, tampering, or irregularity must be clearly noted on the Bill of Lading before acceptance. Failure to document damage at the time of delivery may result in denial of freight claims.

All freight claims must be submitted in writing within 24 hours of delivery.

Truckload rates are calculated based on destination and mileage, regardless of whether the trailer is partially or fully loaded.

A standard 53 foot trailer can generally accommodate approximately 26 pallets without double stacking. When height permits, double stacking may increase capacity and reduce per pallet freight costs.

Customers receiving full truckloads must:

 • Confirm adequate space for trailer access and maneuvering

 • Ensure proper unloading equipment, such as a forklift, is available

 • Provide available delivery dates and times in advance

 • Be prepared to unload within the standard two hour window

Detention fees may apply if unloading exceeds the allotted time.

Shipping charges do not include unloading labor. Drivers will not assist with unloading unless lift gate service has been specifically ordered.

All truckloads are sealed prior to departure. Customers must verify that the seal number matches shipping documentation before breaking the seal.

For long distance shipments, rail transportation may be used when cost effective. Rail transit times may be longer than standard over the road trucking.

Self Pick Up Policy

Customers may arrange to pick up orders directly from our warehouse.

The following conditions apply:

 • Orders must be picked up within 48 hours of notification unless otherwise agreed in writing

 • Customers must ensure their vehicle can accommodate the full shipment

 • Partial pallet returns are not permitted once opened

 • Customers must bring appropriate straps or tie downs to secure freight

 • Forklift assistance for loading full pallets may be available, subject to staff availability and signed liability acknowledgment

 • Hand loading assistance is not provided

Heavy machinery operates in the loading area at all times. Customers must exercise caution. Children and pets must remain inside vehicles during loading.

If customers are unable to safely load their order, Zoom Liquidation can arrange competitive freight delivery upon request.
